If a seller gives you an Appliance allowance, which appliances can be purchased?
I heard that certain appliances like washers and dryers may not be included in the appliance allowance. What I was told is it is for stoves and fridges. Can anyone tell me if this is true and why that may be? If it helps I am considring purchasing a home in Nebraska. Thanks!
Also, how does it work when you get an allowance, does the seller give you the money to go out and buy what you need?
I’m a Realtor in MD and here you could use it for any appliance you want unless it’s specified otherwise in writing. I know laws vary from state to state so I would check with your Realtor.
